HandCraft Pro. for Studios – Realtime, Accurate, Clean Hand Capture in Maya
This is a plugin for Maya that lets you capture fast, accurate, real-time hand motion with your webcam and bake it down directly in Maya. It can also be used to take snapshots of character hand poses in realtime, allowing you to click up and down the timeline to add poses exactly where you need them to block in key poses or build an entire pose library on the fly.
All you need is a webcam, and HandCraft Pro. does the rest. Using machine learning, it seamlessly tracks your hands and applies the data to any five-fingered rig. While baking down animation, you can edit or delete poses and animation as you go, keeping you in full control.
You can even capture hand motion from reference video, giving you a solid foundation to work from.
