This is a plugin for Maya that lets you capture fast, accurate, real-time hand motion with your webcam and bake it down directly in Maya. It can also be used to take snapshots of character hand poses in realtime, allowing you to click up and down the timeline to add poses exactly where you need them to block in key poses or build an entire pose library on the fly.
All you need is a webcam, and HandCraft Pro. does the rest. Using machine learning, it tracks your hands and applies the data. While baking down animation, you can edit or delete poses and animation as you go, keeping you in full control.
The curves produced by the realtime capture are incredibly clean compared to other mocap. Unlike traditional mocap solutions that leave you with messy data to fix, HandCraft Pro. delivers animation-ready curves right out of the box.
Set a default pose before recording, and it will act as an additive layer throughout your animation, keeping your characters on-model and appealing from start to finish.
